My special trees paid off in the canal cove. Had 13 nice crappie. I posted this on CDC:

Actually the first time I've ever caught fish with the water this cold and I managed to keep 13 nice sacs. There were a few escapes and too small. All were caught with the trusty tight line 4 to 6 feet deep on black/chart.

A beautiful sunny day for late November with a light Northerly breeze that didn't bother the ole kayak too much.
