The mourning started off with frost but after a delayed start it warmed up to the low 60's with sun. We picked up 15 (11/4) all in the big pond on the South bank. They were in 7 to 6 FOW about 4.5' down. Drifting Bobby Garland Baby Shad was all we tried. Putting on extra sinkers seemed to help the presentation, but I couldn't feel the bite. Only caught one that way, but might try it again. Tried the Unhookum and started to like it after ramming a couple of hooks into the gullet.
The water was up after the rains and there was nothing at all hapening in the medium pond.
Met Tad Web from Abbeville in his kayak.
