Gave Poppa Chop jigs a good try for the first time and caught most of today's 18 on it. I'm not really used to the 1/32 oz weight and that took some getting used too. Catch was way better to the North later in the day on the way back. Tried going down early, but nothing. Nicer fish toward days end near the truck. Water seems clearer and the fish are shallower to the North. River is at 2.5'. Seems up a tad in the bayou, but don't know why that would be. Maybe it's not.
