After a slight cool front it was much nicer on the water. Paddled down Pelba and up Bigeaux to the first island. Most fish were by the deeper stumps at 7 to 8 feet deep. A few were in the hydrila at 5 to 6 feet deep. All were caught tight line on black and chart wiggle tale grubs. Water on Pelba was at 8.6' which was up about .4' with the rain event. The water is fairly clear.
Most of the early people were teal hunters, and when I got back at 2:30 there were only a few trucks at the landing . Very peaceful fun day.
