First time for everything and we caught 19 crappie with two kayaks. The water was drawn down a couple of feet for water plant control. We fished on limbs and stumps in about 7 FOW. Half were caught on tight line and the rest under a cork fishing around 6' deep.

Mine were all caught on little tube jigs that were blue and white rigged with weedless like JB showed us. I did manage to foul my anchor and have to cut it away. I made the mistake of dragging it to myself rapidly through a tree top.

A very nice day with a fairly stiff breeze to keep us cool. It's about 95 miles from Abbeville so we won't be going too regular. Hardly any paddling involved.
