Didn't see a boat all day and we managed 16 crappie (10/6). Fished from above the landing down to the point. Most of my fish on the Poppa Chop with tight line in about 5.5' of water. 

Bayou was real low with gage around 2.3'. Very nice weather just after the reenforcement of the last cold front. Barometer was 30.00". Saw 3 nets floating with gators reminding of old times.
