Tried fishing the cut-offs South of the landing, but the rise from the recent rains messed it up. It was a moderate rise, but there was still plenty of water coming from Nezpique and De Canes. Mermentau gage was at 2.4 and fairly steady.

Only caught one Chopique, but had a nice 5.19 mile paddle with temps in the upper 60's.
