After a long spell of lost mojo in the lake I finally caught 3 crappie today. None were caught in my hot spots. All to the right going out of the canal. They were caught tight line just like last fall in about 5' of water. Nezpique is at 4.6' and falling from a rise caused by a couple of local showers. Mermentau is at 2.51' and holding around that for the last week.

The weather is very hot. Finished around 3:00 and it seems like it's risky with the heat. Nobody trying there except me.
