I went back all pumped after last Friday success fishing them deep. I thought the bite was off, but those that worked hard in the shallow against the bank were well rewarded. The breeze kicked up pretty good from the South which made it hard to control the kayak in close. 

I did manage to keep from scratching with 5 crappie, but they were small and I gave them away at the landing. The water had made a little .2' rise since Friday to right at 12'. This is way higher than when we first started over there last year. As of today it's up further to 12.7'.
