Made a solo trip (6/11/2012) to the Butte La Rose landing into Henderson Swamp. Made the round to Lake Bigeaux and back via Lake Pelba. It wasn't a lot of paddling, but I managed to get 6 Crappie and it was fairly comfortable once a good South wend came up in the late morning.

Boy it makes all the difference in the world when you get away from that weekend traffic at the landing and on the water. The Lake Pelba gage was at 8.7' and it looks like it's flattened out.

The fish where in about 4' of water with the float at about 2.5'. Some where under water lilies fit they where in deep water, and the rest where near the depth transition.
