We had to fight for 6 today (5/1), but it was fun anyway. The fish were small and only fileted out to 10 oz for the lot. The water was up with Mermentau at 2.83' looking like due to wind since the upper gages didn't show a rain rise. Fished the Poppa Chop and the Bobby. Action was too slow to have a preference. Got soaked with a shower, but lightning was thankfully distant.
