Woke up at 4:30 unplanned so I went out in the garage and finished adding the Humminbird transducer. Then went to Lacassine only about an hour behind normal time. Water real low and the fish are still in spawn mode real shallow in the knees. Used Popachop under a small cork about 8". Only one other fishermen out there, but he was a real pro that I have not met before today. He has been catching real good up tight against the knees. Tried tight line deeper and nothing. Caught 13 crappie with only 2 being females with eggs. The rest males. Lots of other junk caught also. Goo, chopique, bass and perch. Water looked kind of dirty, but the fish were there. Only went to the figure eight.
