The bayou was at the low point for the summer, but the water wasn't clear like it's going to get. Managed 10 crappie starting with a brisk North wind after last nighs storms. The road to the landing is sure soft after all the rains.

Went down to just below Pierre point and up above the bridge just around the first point. Nothing above the bridge, but 2 under it. Mermentau was at 2.2'. Tried with a slip float, but no luck. Caught on the Bobby mostly on near bank brush piles.

Very tired after only 5 hours of sleep waking up at 2:00 a.m..
