Couldn't stand it and had to go fish in the rain. I looked at the radar early and thought there would be a break toward the west. Can't win them all. It was so dark I couldn't see my line at the end of my 10' pole and the rain never stopped. Only one lightening strike close, but could never relax. Started late and gave it 4 hours until about 1:30. Managed 7 sacs which is good for me in a big rise. Should have waited for tomorrow as now they are calling it 30%. Mermentau gage is at 3.4' and rising. Hwy 14 launch only had a couple of inches and the bulkheads would be under. All caught on Bobby tight line against the knees. Gave the fish away at the landing.
