Not much to tell here so combining two more scratch winter days. Thursday was out of the town dock and fished the canal mostly trying to get used to the new Humminbird. Saw a lot of fish deep, and hardly none in the lake. There were some in the lake in the deep channels and managed to catch a dumb bluecat.

Saturday I did a late launch around 1:00 pm at Lakeside. I paddled down and tried 3 locations and the river channel. Saw fish again only deep.

Been seeing old commercial fishermen lately. Archie Carlen, Butch Smith, and Russell Prados. Russell seemed to get a laugh out of seeing me in my little kayak. Hey I get a laugh myself when I think of it.
