Went thinking that further South in the Mermentau Basin would be better but no. Black water was coming out of the marsh everywhere with the North wind yesterday helping. It was still 4.4' at Mermentau. Only one tiny bass for 4 hours. The locations had a pretty good outgoing current most places. I'll leave that place alone for a long time. Thought I would try fishing on the drop off as structure, but it's not too well defined.
