Started the day at 37 degrees and worked up to low 70's by the time I gave up at 1:30. Managed to get on nice bass up to the side of the boat before he escaped. He was in over 12' by the buoy at McGee's.

Paddled the yak to lower Pelba and tried all the usual spots. Could see the structure where Jude caught good but know action. I see fish everywhere in the deepest water which is around 14', but who knows what kind they are.

I thought it might be good since PS had a 19 fish trip in deep water in upper Bigeaux. Cold water still hard for me.

The water on the Pelba gage is falling at 10.4'. Down .8' in a week. 6.35 miles paddling all together.
