The water healed up and is at low stage. Tried the first location South for most of the morning with zero bites. Coming back I picked up 4 crappie under the railroad bridge in about 6' of water near some underwater brush.

Later went up river and caught 2 wihin sight of the landing near the drop in about 6 - 8'. All caught tight line. Boat guy I met had 20. Only 3 or 4 other boats out, but they seemed to know what they were doing.

The action seemed telling of the way to fish now that the waters are cooling fast and winter moving in. Already had a couple of fronts with night time lows around 34.
