Went to the lower end of Lake Arthur and the river just below down to the Klondike Canal and didn't catch a crappie. I fished from 8:00 until about 2:00 and caught a catfish and a bass. Both got released.

Three was a strong South wend, but I manage to check most all the places I could think of. The water is still on the murky side, but I'm not sure it's much more than normal for that area. The water is still a bit on the high side with Mermentau @ 2.84'. Nezpique is still high at 10.82'.

It was a nice day anyway with the breeze keeping it from being too hot.
