Had the river to myself except for 2 other boats, and managed to catch 9 crappie. The river still looks fairly clear in this area. Most were caught under a cork set at 4.5'. A couple were tight line.

Right off the bat I caught 4 on the first log going up. The next one I bounced off the ice and overboard. This was the same spot that I did it last time I was here.

All the fish were caught on laydowns in from 6' to 10'. The river at Mermentau was at 2.04'.

I just made it back before a bad squall blew through. It came up real fast and by the time I got my coffee in Lake Arthur the wind was blowing super hard going over the bridge. Very scary.
