The Mermentau gage had gone to 4.0' and was down to 2.78' so I thought I would give it a try. Nezpique was at 3.25' and there was still a little current with fairly clear water. I thought it might have been black at Jennings.

Tried down to the firs location and up just above the abandoned loading dock that stinks. Did get one little throw back there.

Two wise guys that claimed to have gone up the Nezpique said they had 50 fish. I told them I doubted it and they showed me one. They claimed to have caught on tree tops 2' down with shiners. They were on my best spot in the location and then again just above the launch. Saturday is a bum day for me.
