We had 3 kayaks out of Jennings today, but left a good bit late due to illness of one of our crew. We fished down and then up to the I-10 bridge for 3 fish and we were glad to get that many.

The water still looks a little murky, but is clearing. It is almost down to normal low after some pretty big rains a week or so ago. The gage at Basile said 3.5' by days end and there was no visible current.

Jude got well and was high man with 2 crappie. There were only a couple of boats trying for a Saturday.
