One of the best days there. Didn't get stated until 8:30 after coffee in Abbeville. All the fish where in the big pond. Some were about 30' off the South bank about 4.5' down in 6.5' of water. The bite was tender with the slowest motion required and a lot hooked in the lip as opposed to deeper in.

Later in the day while talking to a boat fisherman I caught one in 7' of water at the same depth. This was straight across from the boat launch and it was live action after that.
