Jude and I went to Egan ferry landing and paddled South for a total of 24 crappie and a bass. Lots of little toss backs, perch, chopique, and what not.

The water was dead low and the fish were real shallow on hard banks. Nothing in the swamps. We were 8" under a cork with most caught on a black/chart cycle tail grub. The fish were definitely on the small side with some saying that the big fish spawn first. These were definitely all spawning fish with a mix of male and females with eggs. I had 21 fish which was at or near my personal best ever.
