I tried all my hot spots in the lake for zero. Even went around the Narrows and found some good looking structure, but no fish. On the way back I found 2 crappie in 9 FOW fishing double rigged 6' deep. They were caught on Bobby Garland blue/grey baby shad with one having a Stubby Steve bait. 

I was back to the landing for around 2:00 and the river is steady around 2' at Mermentau.
