Made a fairly long trip from Lake Side to the figure eight in Lacassine for 5 in the OB. The water had started down at Mermentau, but it still hadn't cleared much in Streeter's. There were a lot of Pro-bass boats in Streeter's pre-fishing for a Thursday tournament. Caught under a cork shallow (8") as the fish still seem to be spawning. The boat used less than 3 gal. of gas. Mermentau had gone up to 3.5' about 3 days ago which was a nice little rise.
