I launched at Mermentau after a couple of nights in the 40s and days in the 60s. There was a lot of action on the little throw back scale. Must have caught 10 to only keep 2, but they were real nice slabs. All were males caught against the trees with a slip cork set at about 8". The river was at 2.3↑
