All morning not a bite, but it was cold and overcast. Big Mike came as I was leaving. He was fishing the first side canal going up. Another fisherman had gone in the next one up. Mike says after the 3" rain the night before they were in the side canals. The spawn hasn't really kicked into high gear yet, but Mike had 22 a couple of days prior. Mostly he has had low numbers and he is fishing every day on vacation.
