First encouraging trip where fish showed up from Figure Eight to Pierre's Point. Water at 2.5' for Mermentau gage. Not one other boat out there. All caught tight line with Roadrunner/Joker combo. Common Salvinia really bad and blocks some good spots. Big hurricane headed to Texas and forecast is for big rains over SW LA.
