Caught 4 black spawning males in 5 FOW 3' under a cork with Pop a Chop. First trip out with motor boat and I'm just as tired as after a paddling trip. Started the day with a little drizzle and calm then moved to partly sunny with strong winds. The water is so clear you can see deep and the fish seem to spook easy. Was just trying to get used to the boat and especially the trolling motor which I have never experienced before. Couldn't seem to keep my foot off the switch and wound up chopping up my trolling motor prop a little bit running it against the hull trying to bring the motor up to move with the outboard. Actually 4 might be my best trip to Lake Martin or at least close to it.
