Got there about 10:00 for a late trip. No ice since didn't figure to catch. Big South wind and no pretty water. Caught 7 mostly in the Westerly canal fishing with a sinking cork for the first time. Had a hair jig under it. Mermentau at 2.7' rocking up and down a little with the strong winds every day.
