Tried up almost to the castle and in the lake on the Northern end, but only 2 little rejects. Water is very nice, but seems high at 2.5' (Mermentau) considering the low upstream gages. Wondering if high tides in the gulf are keeping it from draining. Seems as though they are letting salt water in as some branches on brush piles have old barnacles.
