We caught 2 keepers and a few perch. Collin caught a perch and was real happy. He ate the sacs last night.
The water was draining hard out of the Near Field canals and was black but not stinky yet. The fish were caught on a blue/white triple tail tight line near a pile cluster.
The current was heading South at the landing mixing with the muddy water from Grand Lake. It was strong and probably going out the control structure on Constance Bayou. No problem with water on the launch road or parking area and the Mermentau was at 5.7' and starting to fall. All the upper gages are showing slow fall now.
